Saturday was one of our down days. We lazed around a bit and had lunch before we headed to Downtown Disney. Lots of shops and restaurants here. And, home of Cirque du Soliel, La Nouba. We were lucky enough to have tickets to it for saturday at 6:30pm. The first of two shows playing that day. I ordered these on line well in advance and I'm glad that I did as it was sold out.

Cirque du Soliel, La Nouba was one of the most exciting shows that I have ever been to. We all were on the edge of our seats watching all the acrobatics and stunts. They really were amazing! And lots of humour too. It was impressive to say the least! A must see for any age.

 We did some shopping of course. Mack bought some cool magic cards at this great magic shop. We walked through lots of other stores too and bought a few more goodies to bring home. Everything that you may want to buy is at Downtown Disney. And there are tonnes of restaurants and bars too. We went to the Legoland temporary tent as they are renovating the building. There were some very neat lego statues around. I do wish that we would have had a bit more time at Downtown Disney to explore as there was so much to see and do. Oh well, next time

With so many places to eat, we had a hard time deciding where to go. In the end, we went to Planet Hollywood for supper. Very cool place! Full of old props from movies across the ages. Lots to see there and the food was very good. We went up to the counter and asked the girl how long the wait would be. 45 minutes people!! Not happening... we were too hungry. Then the girl asked if it was just the 3 of us and we said yes. She then said, 'You guys are VIP's right?' 'Ya, sure we are', we responded. She hands us a little slip of paper and says to go on up. So we do and are let right in, past the line up of people, and to our table. Holy! That was awesome! Here again, Mack was made to feel pretty special. At one point during our dinner, they put his name up on the big screen and announced his never-ending birthday. hahahaha. Excellent!

There was also a great deal of music going on downtown.

How many super days can one have in a row? 

Well, we were on day 6 of our trip and haven't been disappointed yet.
